The Dalmatian Coast
The Dalmatian Coast is over 1700km in length and is almost uninterrupted in its pristine coastline and stunning scenery. The islands offer pockets of discovery along one of the most beautiful coastlines in the Mediterranean Sea.
There is no shortage of places to explore here, from UNESCO-listed sights and museums in Split, to picturesque seaside towns and islands made for day tripping.
For those interested in exploring Croatia’s history, Diocletian’s Palace, built in the 3rd century and situated in Split, is the perfect onshore activity. Cocooned within its old walls are shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as some beautiful cathedrals. Outside, you’ll find the Riva promenade, a new waterfront area perfect for evening strolls. The Dalmatian Coast is home to some of the most spectacular beaches in Europe. The towns of Brela, Tucepi and Zivogosce have beaches full of pebbled coves and bays, as well as calm, clear waters that are ideal for swimming.
Average temperatures from April to May is from 22°C to 28°C. June to August you can expect sunny, blue skies every day, temperature from 26°C to 30°C.
The Ionian Islands
