Travel Advisories

Please note:
Starting January 26, 2021, the U.S. Government will require all travelers coming from international countries - including U.S. citizens - to present negative test results within 3 days of departure aboard a flight. Antibody tests and vaccines are not accepted. Please review the list of current options and testing sites for travelers that are required to take a test prior to departure.

All travelers over the age of 5 (6+) are required to have a negative PCR test taken within 3 days (72 hours) of travel to Grenada. All travelers 6+ will undergo a PCR test upon arrival in Grenada airport - this must be paid in advance of travel via the Government of Grenada's online payment gateway and will cost 410EC (approximately $150 USD).

All travelers must show confirmed reservations at an approved accommodation.

Vaccinated travelers
Vaccinated travelers will need to apply for travel authorization. Get tested 72 hours prior to travel. Show Travel Authorization Certificate AND a copy of a negative RT-PCR test before boarding. Also, show a copy of the vaccination card and the negative PCR test upon arrival. Get an antigen test on arrival and receive the results straight away with NO quarantine required.

Travelers are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Sinopharm, or Sinovac vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Vaccinated and unvaccinated in a travel party: travelers who normally reside in the same household will be treated as UNVACCINATED, if a member of that household (13 years of age or older) is part of the traveling party, and has not been fully vaccinated. Adults traveling in a group where some are vaccinated and others are not, and choose not to separate, shall all be treated as UNVACCINATED.

Unvaccinated travelers
Unvaccinated guests must take a day 5 PCR test and must complete a 7-day quarantine in an approved location - Moorings yachts do not qualify as an approved location.
If a negative result is obtained after the 5-day test and a 7-day quarantine has been completed, travelers are permitted to venture outside of their approved accommodation.

Testing facilities on the island
General hospital - no appointment required
St Augustin private hospital - appointment is required

Testing is $150 and results will be emailed to the customer within 24 hours.
