While St. Thomas is opening its borders for international travelers, certain Policies and Procedures will need to be followed when entering the country, before and during your stay there. Please bookmark this page as travel updates are frequently announced.

Before You Go

 

All Fully Vaccinated International travellers:

  • All International travellers must submit a negative antigen (antigen) or NAAT (e.g., RT- PCR) COVID-19 test result. 
  • Travel by Air - Tests must be taken within 1 day of travel. 
  • Travel by Ferry - Tests must be taken within 5 days of travel. 
  • Non-U.S. citizens/non-U.S. travellers must be fully vaccinated (recieved 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccination) and will be asked to show proof of this.
  • All international travellers, 2 years of age or older, who enter the U.S. Virgin Islands by air or sea, and anyone in transit to another destination, are required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal and get cleared to travel to the USVI.
  • Travellers aged 2-17 are exempt from the vaccine requirement.

Fully Vaccinated Domestic Travellers (includes U.S. mainland and other U.S. Territories): 

  • Fully vaccinated domestic travellers do not need to submit a Covid-19 test.
  • Travellers will need to provide proof of your vaccination status.
  • Travellers must have had the second dose 14 days prior to travel to USVI. 
Partially Vaccinated or Unvaccinated Domestic Travellers (includes U.S. mainland and other U.S. Territories):
  • Travellers must submit a negative result from an antigen or PCR COVID-19 test taken within 5 days of travel.
  • Travellers, 5 years of age or older who enter the U.S. Virgin Islands by air or sea, and anyone in transit to another destination, are required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal and get cleared to travel to the USVI.
